Education Pedigree of an artist

An artist's journey while it stems from genius talent, it takes divergence or convergence into being a full time artist at various points. For some art is all they live, breathe, see and think. They are also very clear that other things don't excite them as much as creating art. Some out them are fortunate to be able to further their pursuits into art education at university art colleges and institutions of repute like Kalabhavan-Shantiniketan, MSU Baroda, JJ School of Art, Chitrakala Parishad, College of Arts under various state governments, Royal College of Art London, Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux - Art Paris are some of those that I know. There are so many others.

The education helps the artist gather perspectives, techniques, influences, originality, technicalities, the math and science of it from so many different experiences and talent of the faculty. It gives them the malleability to gather multiple strengths,  and see things differently which will later influence their work. That said art education from an institution of repute adds to the investable credibility of an artist.

Alongside there also exceptional artists who are self taught and successful too. However in the serious art collection circles, the pedigree of art education plays an important role at influencing collection.
