“Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken" - Oscar Wilde

An invitation to work closely with a national award winning, senior artist, opened the doors to a whole new world for me. From a skimmer at art shows, I started indulging more deeply. I became drawn to the creative process, the artist’s influences, and sources of inspiration. I had to let go of control and expectations about how art should be understood, and instead embrace curiosity — celebrating creativity, originality, and authentic expression in fine art.
After much reflection,I decided to shape my path as someone who engages in consulting for art portfolios of both individual and institutional interests -a possible Creative Catalyst. Arteflick was born from this vision — a brand that walks alongside artists and collectors, inviting investment of time, money, and curiosity, and weaving connections through fresh expressions and compelling stories
Art is personal and subjective. What draws one to a specific art is often not deterministic and absolute. It can be anything, a connection with a visual element, invocation of a thought or a feeling that one deeply resonates with, or empathy for a world outside. It can also be new insights of dimensions one has never seen before. On the other side, the decorative and aesthetic value of art often draws many. The value of art therefore is in what lies beneath the surface of mere visuals.
People buy art from all kinds of events and spaces. Most art purchased is religious, while others are valued for their aesthetic and decorative appeal. Art attracts all those with a genuine love for what resonates with them — whether it’s peace, hope, chaos, tone, subject, messaging, or emotional resonance. They can be contemporary, modern, or work of masters. Art works can also appreciate in value for market-driven reasons, including trends, demand and supply, historical significance, and other factors.

At Arteflick, our pursuit is to facilitate the acquisition of art that appreciates in value. Along the way, we aim to make your collecting journey as simple and enjoyable as possible. The indulgence in collecting spans the spectrum of buying capacity, patience to hold, mental space to appreciate, appetite for risk, confidence in your choices, and ultimately the equanimity to let go when the opportunity arises to realize its latent financial value.
We view artists and their work through the lens of investable potential. Art is considered not only in terms of genre, materials, and techniques, but also from the perspective of money invested and potential return. Many factors influence the value of a piece, much like other types of investment portfolios.
Our consulting takes these nuances into account, providing carefully curated advice. The approach has been to bring forth art of value that not only meets the aspirations of a collection, but also recognizes art as an asset that appreciates over time—art that can be a source of pride, heirloom, and legacy.
Arteflick’s advisory services focus on collections handpicked for future value, ranging from established masters to emerging artists, creating meaningful connections between artists, collectors, and the evolving art landscape.
